Psychotherapy provides clients with a very unique opportunity. Clients enter into a relationship based on trust and understanding with a therapist. The goal of therapy is to help clients improve their interpersonal relationships as well as overcome their personal challenges in life.
Marriage and Family Therapists are licensed by the State of California and are trained to assess, diagnose and treat individuals, couples, families and their children/adolescents.
Lea Roussos is trained in this capacity with expertise in working with children/adolescents as well as women struggling with eating disorders. Please refer to the links regarding eating disorders for more information.
Lea has also worked with children whose families are going through divorce and need support through this difficult process. She works in a collaborative manner with both the children and their parents.
In addition, she has a special interest in mindfulness meditation and working with trauma to change the neurobiology of the brain.
